About

dsc_8834-2I was born and raised in the small town of Blountstown, Florida as a third generation Floridian. I am the oldest child, grandchild and great-grandchild in the Yoder family. I was blessed with a childhood consisting of fishing with my grandpa, hunting with my dad, camping with my friends and finding myself in the outdoors.

After graduating high school in 2013, I took a year off from college to pursue a position with the Florida FFA Association as a state officer. This gave me the opportunity to travel the state, nation and world. Throughout my time with Florida FFA, I was given the opportunity to speak with students, politicians, agriculturists and stakeholders about the agriculture industry and leadership.

I then attended Chipola College for two semesters where I received my Associates degree. In 2015 I started at the University of Florida in the College of Agriculture. I am currently senior in the department of agricultural education and communication. After graduating in the spring of 2017, I will start a master’s program in department of agricultural education and communication.
